History

Getting Our Start Over Dinner

Advanced Puritan Water Systems got its start when Bill Wagner met three business associates for dinner in early 1989. Each was looking for an opportunity to start a new business.  Their expertise and background was in water treatment which led to the creation of Advanced Puritan Water Systems on May 1, 1989.

Locally Owned and Operated for Over 20 Years

Over the next few years the company grew significantly.  By 1998 Bill’s three original partners had turned the business over to Bill as each left to pursue other interests.   Today Advanced Puritan Water Systems is led by Bill, and his management team of Sheila and Jeff.  Over the years being “locally owned and operated” has meant that Advanced Puritan Water Systems has built long term customer relations with many of their clients.  This continuous ability to take care of their customer’s water systems, after the sale service, and salt delivery needs has earned them a reputation for outstanding customer service.

Did You Know

How do I know what is in my drinking water?

If you are on city water, your local water must meet very strict Federal and State standards for purity. However, in areas that use well water high in minerals and salts taste can be affected. All municipally treated water is chlorinated, and this can also impact taste and create odors in the water. If you are on a private well or spring, you should have your water tested.
